Studies on Computer/Mobile-Assisted Language Learning
This themed panel presentation focuses on some aspects of language learning that are evident in a learning management system. The ecology and dynamics of online teaching and learning have similarities with that of face-to-face classroom instruction. However, there are also marked differences brought about by the use of computer, internet, and mobile technology. Some of these aspects will be explored in the studies. The topics included are reflective writing, learning objects, politeness, learning experiences, and communication portfolio.
Dennis H. Pulido is Full Professor in the Institute of Arts and Sciences of Far Eastern University. He has a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics from De La Salle University-Manila. He has presented research papers in local and international conferences. He has published articles in local and international academic journals.
